Affiliate Squadrons
The Hornet School partners with multiple squadrons to provide our graduates with a clear pathway to join a suitable group. Our graduates are seen as not only trained in the F/A-18, but also dedicated and committed pilots—qualities these groups value highly.

Carrier Strike Group 3
A U.S. Navy–themed multiplayer group built around the concept of a full carrier strike group. Members train and fly together in coordinated carrier operations, emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and realism in naval aviation.

Carrier Air Wing 4
Modeled after U.S. Navy carrier air wings, CVW-4 organizes multiple virtual squadrons under one wing. They focus on structured missions, carrier qualifications, and joint operations with other groups, providing an immersive carrier aviation experience.

Carrier Air Wing 5
Based on the real-life forward-deployed U.S. Navy wing in Japan, this group replicates the fast-paced operational tempo of carrier aviation. They train in strike, fleet defense, and joint operations while promoting a strong sense of squadron culture.

VNAO
One of the most recognized DCS naval aviation groups, VNAO recreates U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aviation with a focus on realism and community. They develop their own mods, host events, and provide a structured environment for carrier-based flying.

ANZUS
DCS ANZUS is a milsim group based on the Australia, New Zealand, and US defense treaty. We fly in AEST/AEDT with members worldwide, using the Persian Gulf, Nevada, Syria, and Afghanistan maps plus the Supercarrier. Our main squadrons (F-14, F-16, F/A-18, A-10, AH-64) train on Tuesdays and run missions on Sundays. Friendly off-comms, professional in the jet—we follow real-world procedures. Hornet School grads join our 2OCU program to get mission-ready before flying operations.
